The Good, The Bad and the Ugly eBay Alternative Sites
There's no disputing it: eBay is the Internet auction champion scoring
highest with a 21 Alexa ranking*. (Update: Ranks 23**)
But sellers who are fed up with eBay because of fee and policy changes
implemented Feb. 20, 2008, are swarming to alternative Web sites as well
as striking May 1, 2008. eBay is not invincible, and disgruntled eBay
sellers have a choice. What follows is a list of the good, the bad, and the
ugly alternatives:
Top eBay Alternative Sites (the good), highest Alexa rankings*:
- Webstore by Amazon (online book titan now accepts online
sellers.) Ranked 34. March Update: Ranks 44**

and largely free) Ranks 64

probably because of the blogging.
- namezilla (Free, supported by advertising) virtually no listings.
Ranks 188,361

more than half are store listings) Ranks: 200,643** up from No
